Norman B. Gillis is the Senior Attorney and principal of Music Row Law. Norman's practice includes the areas of entertainment law, entertainment contracts, music law, intellectual property, copyright, trademark, and business and commercial contracts. He received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Mississippi. He is on the faculty of the National Business Institute, presenting seminars for attorneys in the areas of entertainment and intellectual property law, and has presented on extraordinary remedies in trademark protection for the Nashville Bar Association. Norman is a member of the Mississippi, Nashville, and Tennessee Bar Associations. He is on the Professional Advisory Board for AFTRA, has served on the Faculty Advisory Committee for the International Academy of Design and Technology, is on the legal team for the Artists Music Guild, and is a Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished Attorney for his professionalism and ethics. 

For the past 25 years of his 30-year legal career, Norman has practiced on Music Row in Nashville. In addition to his passion for law, church and community activities are equally important to Norman. He has assisted with mission trips to Honduras and the Lacota Sioux Reservation in South Dakota through the Episcopal Church, and worked on a Rotary International project for mentally and physically challenged children in Jamaica. He is past Rotary club president, past Sr. Warden of his church, and is in the St. David's Episcopal Choir in addition to being a Licensed Eucharistic Minister for the Dioceses of Tennessee and Mississippi. Norman is admitted to practice law in Tennessee, Mississippi, the Northern and Southern U.S. District Courts of Mississippi, and the Fifth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals.

Tony is an Associate Attorney at Music Row Law.  He received his B.S. in Marketing from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and his MBA from Eastern Illinois University.  After a stint as a Regional Sales Manager, Tony served in the Army as an intelligence officer.  After several years in the Army, he moved to Nashville and decided to attend law school, receiving his J.D. at Belmont University College of Law, with a concentration in Entertainment & Music Business Law.

 

Tony has a sincere desire to help entertainers and creators of intellectual property.  In addition to his passion for entertainment and intellectual property law, Tony loves live music, being active outdoors, martial arts, volunteering, reading, and his rescue dogs.

 

Tony is admitted to practice law in Tennessee.
